On Tuesday 12 October it was time to open the Swedish parliamentary session for the year. It was a particular opening day, since Sweden had had an election and a new party had been elected to the parliament, the Sweden Democrats.

The opening ceremony started in the church with a sermon held by the bishop Eva Brunne, who, at the end of her sermon, made the majority of the SD-members leave the church, something that has never happened before. The bishop seized the opportunity to stage a deliberate provocation. In the form of a sermon she delivered a politically left-wing manifesto barely disguised in religion. She could have chosen to emphasize understanding, collaboration and good will instead of the abysmal hate and distrustfulness that have appeared during the election campaign. But behind a mask of false goodness she chose to incite to further political hate. The controversial part of the sermon was:

Yesterday many thousands of people gathered in Stockholm and in other parts of the country in order to state their opinion. Call out their loathing for that which makes difference between people. The racism that says that you are not worth as much as I am. You shall not have the same rights as I have. You are not worthy of a life in freedom. And this because of just one thing – that we happen to have been born in different parts of our world. This is not worthy a democracy like ours to make difference between people. It is not possible for believing people to make difference between people. It is not worthy people to make difference between people. It is not enough to give some hundred people the mandate to represent us. Here we have a joint mission. And if anyone fall silent or is silenced in the fight for human dignity, we must see to it that even the stones shout. We do it assisted by God.

Why was this an offence? The day before, Monday 11 October, there was a manifestation in Stockholm against the SD in which the bishop participated. It was arranged by several extreme left-wing groups among others the AFA (Antifa), who for years have harassed and even tried to murder SD members. In this demonstration, there were manifestations against the SD that were not on the level, among others according to the Liberal Party MP Johan Persson, who had witnessed the manifestation and said that it was “disgusting” and that there were placards that were absolutely beneath contempt.

The left-wing party leader Lars Ohly was one of the main speakers. He delivered a speech in which he said that “the Sweden Democrats must leave the country”. The shouting

participants conveyed similar messages in choir. Eggs were thrown at policemen. The security police forbade the SD members to go out during the demonstration, since the atmosphere was judged to be too threatening and dangerous. The bishop also participated. She vindicated that she was there for just 20 minutes and that she did not observe anything negative.

To pronounce the first phrase above was thus a mean way of insulting the SD PMs. To say that “stones must shout” is a biblical way of sanctioning violence (stone-throwing) at SD voters. A crosier does not automatically entail any particular understanding of politics, or even of morality out of the ordinary. That is what bishop Eva Brunne now have proved.

Finally the sentence was passed. In one of my former blogposts I wrote about this abominable manslaughter of the 78-year-old woman on a parking lot in Landskrona.

A few days ago the law court found that Ahmad Akileh, with Lebanese citizenship, was guilty of grievous bodily harm, aggravated assault, gross negligence manslaughter and ill treatment of normal degree to prison for 1 year and 10 months. Ahmad Akileh shall also pay 43 000 SEK damages to the woman’s husband Sven Wickman and 18 944 SEK to the estate of the deceased.

At the end of the session Akileh complained about the fact that he had a problem with his stomach and mental health problems that made the judge reduce the period in prison with a few months, a sentence that in reality should have been 2 years. The fact that he lied in 2007 and said that he was from Iraq instead of Lebanon in order to become a permanent residence permit in Sweden did not seem to influence the senctence, as he was not sentenced to expulsion after having served his sentence.

Many people, and even some of the journalists I mentioned in my earlier blog post that then defended the perpetrator, mean that the sentence is to lenient. The woman’s husband claims that the perpetrator got off lighty.

This is what Leif G.W. Person, a somewhat controversial Swedish criminologist says, when commenting on the sentence:

The whole thing took place in Landskrona on 29 March. The same Landskrona where the Sweden Democrats in the latest election got 22 per cent of the votes and valet and possible is it so bad that this can have had something to do with the case. Some kind of inverted racism that have jeopardized our equality before the law. Irrespective of what, both the sentence, the sentenced person and above all his defender, Leif Silbersky, have come as a a gift from above for the Sweden Democrats’ party leaders.

As a comparison we can examine another sentence that was pronounced recently, an imprisonment of five years. The perpetrator, Johan af Donner, former Communications chief of the Swedish Red Cross, was sentenced for serious aggravated fraud, breach of trust, being accessory to aggravated accounting fraud, untrue statement and complicity in obstructing in fiscal control (with reservation for that the legal term can be wrongly translated) against the Red Cross and the Swedish Cancer Society. He had swindled the organization out of millions of Swedish crowns.

The two sentences were pronounced within a week. The reactions when comparing the sentences have been massive and people are in an awful rage and they ask themselves how a human life can be so underestimated compared to money. For there is a trend in Sweden that a life is worth almost nothing when it comes to a judicial decision. Money and objects apparently seem to have a higher value.

The law courts have apparently abandoned human dignity. The 78-year-old lady on the parking lot has no value. She was a worthless creature that just as well could have been killed. This is what Swedish case law in plain language communicates. The perpetrators are glorified, they are defended and cuddled.

Even the the mass media show contempt for the ill-treated husband och the fact that he had witnessed how his wife was killed in the street. The media has shown greater indignation of mismanaged animals than they have done for the old couple in Landskrona.

So when is Sweden ready to do some research into this matter? To find out what is actually valuable in our society and what is not. Comparing the law courts’ sentences and fines. This would be a real challenge. The next, and inevitable question is of course why this is the case.

I have earlier written about how Swedish media and parliamentary parties’ members always defame the party the Sweden Democrats (hereinafter called SD) (here, here and here) and always connect the party name with the adjective “xenophobic” . The SD is today the biggest party outside the parliament and the prognoses show that the SD will probably reach the number of voters (4% or more) that will open the doors of the parliament to the SD. Let’s see what make the other parties so terrified of this party.

The SD was formed in 1988 and is a democratic and nationalistic party. Up to 2005 it was a fairly marginal movement. The founders and the early prominent figures of the party were to some extent of persons active in nationalist parties and organizations. These historical facts are something that other parties often refer to in order to defame the party. They often forget that their own parties have a lot of deadwood, like for instance the Social Democrats, who nominated Hitler for the Nobel Peace Prize. At least three of the present parties in the parliament formed together the The State Institute for Racial Biology, the first of its kind in the world. So “brown roots”, that the SD often is accused of, are apparently to be found in several parties’ historical facts.

In 1997 the the National Swedish Police Board (Rikspolisstyrelsen) published a handbook, in which they describe that younger activists left the party because it was parliamentary and democratic. The authors were Anna-Lena Lodenius and Per Wikström. In the Daily News (Dagens Nyheter) the head of unit, Margareta Linderoth, stated on 8 May 2002 that the Security Police (SÄPO) was not interested in the SD since it was an accepted political party.

The well-known Nazi-researcher Helene Lööw published in 1998 the book “Nazism in Sweden 1980-1997″. In this book of 526 pages the SD is mentioned in only one case in which party leaders are afraid of being assaulted. “It’s not the immigrants that are after us, but the Nazis”. Helene Lööw has several times stated that the SD is democratic and not racist, not Nazi and not xenophobic. She has among other things stated this in the TV program Studio Ekdal in Axess TV on 30 September 2006 and in a seminar at the University of Karlstad on 7 February 2008. Some other journalists have also stated that the SD is not racist or xenophobic.

The largest inflow of SD members, a veritable explosion, has shown that many new members have belonged to other parties and some of them have been active in more than one party. But the politically correct journalists dedicate their time to scrutinize the SD from 1988. Their continuously repeated mantra is that the SD’s have no other ideology than racism.

It is true that in 1988 the SD had hardly no well thought-out political theory, but during the past 22 years, the movement has ripened and found stable social-conservative values. At the moment, the SD is unfortunately the only party in Sweden that with disease awareness.

Today the mass immigration must be handled. That is why many people are ready to vote for the SD in order to get an thorough change of this immense failure and waste. The parliamentary parties remain silent. They know that the immigration has failes, but if the acknowledge this they also have to take measures, which is impossible in this politically correct society where someone always feels injured if you roll up your sleeves. The parliamentary parties know that what is needed is a deus ex machina that can save the situation, and in the present situation there is only the SD that is willing to take on this responsibility.

A study of th SD’s list of future parliamentary members shows that the SD members come from:

Statistics of party members' former political affiliation

By that the question of where the SD at bottom has its roots is answered.

In my former blog post, I wrote about the fact that Stellan Bojerud and his colleagues in the Sweden Party had to use coded messages and change places in order to mislead the groups that are pursuing members of this young party, aiming at seats in the Swedish parliament according to several public opinion polls lately.

This is not a unique situation for Stellan Bojerud just because he and his party members live in the neighbourhood of Stockholm. Here I will give you examples that many more persons have been seriously harassed and attacked because of their membership and political work in the very same party.

First, I will describe the groups of people who keep on harassing these politicians by making them victims of attempts in order to sabotage their political work. The perpetrators adhere to an organisation called AFA, which stands for Anti Fascist Action (Antifascistisk Aktion), founded in 1993. This is an extreme leftist organisation and in spite of the name, where they pretend to fight against fascism, they are a flagrant example of fascism themselves.

AFA documents and even brags about its sabotaging the election process at several places. The last weeks before the election in 2006, they systematically removed the SD’s election posters from the streets. They systematically removed the SD’s election propaganda from libraries. They even took out the party’s election of people’s mail boxes. The election candiates of the SD were sent personal threatening letters to withdraw from the elections, and some actually withdrew because they couldn’t stand the pressure. Here they have even made lists of the politicians to harass with names, adresses and social security number.

The most serious thing, i.e. a flagrant example of undermining democracy, is that they systematically removed all the voting ballots from the polling-booths, both on the day of the election and before. This last move has even caused the Danish member of the EU parliament Morten Messerschmidt to request that the EU sends election observers to Sweden during the election in September. He says:

“I do not want to discredit the general commitment to democracy in Sweden. But now the picture of Sweden’s way to handle smaller parties – and especially parties critical of the immigration policy – to become so blurry, ambiguous and surrounded by rumors that it must be in Sweden’s best interest to get the system checked by independent observers.”

More to mention and just as horrid is that stones have been thrown through windows of the SD members by AFA activists. Axes have been planted in some of the SD members’ doors. Personal threats have been spray-painted outside their houses or apartments. Last summer the party’s press officer and his partner were brutally knocked down by a group of 20 persons. During the attack the perpertrators were shouting political insults.

This and much more is posted openly and possible to read in the links on their website. No criminal investigation has been done. The police remain passive. During the SD’s open-air meetings the police don’t intervene more than necessarily. On one occasion the police didn’t even prevent bloodshed. This passiveness is also characterizing the press, that stands back with its criticism.

One daily newspaper, The Gothenburg Post (Göterborgs-Posten), has examined the violence of the extreme left, though. Out of 180 cases in western Sweden that the newspaper has examined, the police and the public prosecutor have only succeeded to bind someone to the crime on one single occasion.

Given this background, it would be very interesting to know if the Swedish elections would be accepted as democratic by independent international observers.

N.B! Extra link inserted 11 February. This is a link of a list of all the crimes and harassments committed against memebers of the Sweden Democrats in recent years. The link is only in Swedish, though.
